"It's got classic Zin characteristics, with really juicy red fruit and some spicy peppery zest. It avoids going overboard in terms of heat or body, and I'd guess this is lightly oaked. There's nothing out of balance about this wine at all."
Hales is a Double-Gold winner that continues to impress with wonderfully bright raspberry and cherry fruit. That's followed by a velvety smooth dark plum and a hint of chocolate. It finish is a long lasting spicy crescendo. Each new taste reveals new unexpected flavors.
It's why we love Zin
"At the very head of the value pack, this very well-made Zinfandel hits all of the right varietal marks with sweet berries to spare. It is full bodied and supple with a slight bit of back palate tannins, and masks its scant heat with plenty of fruit and stays in balance from start to finish. Good Value."
